I had about an hour between meetings and colleagues said they could me in and out in less than 30. Kin ramen did! I arrived prior to opening and was immediately seated, ordered, and within 10 minutes my food arrived. The service is fast, the food is fresh, and the staff are respectful. I loved the experience. Just be careful, your soda refills are charged per small glass as is the case with the city.
I think KIN RAMEN is The Best ramen place in NYC! The food is unbelievably great and offers a wide variety of options to choose from. This beautiful restaurant is located in the heart of Midtown NYC. It is very easy to find, just a few minutes walk from Central Park. Aura is gorgeous, super friendly, and super kind. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food and a beautiful setup. I for sure will be back again when I’m back in town!
Really great service, they were accommodating to our baby and child, and had small-sized cups, bowls, and plastic silverware for them. The food was AMAZING. All the flavors were spot on, and really fresh. We loved the ube tempura (that wasabi dip - YUM), the buns, sashimi salad, salmon tartare, and of course, THE RAMEN.
Our first dinner out in NYC! A friend recommended it here and it was good! It's a tiny but really fun space. Had both the cabbage and softshell crab appetizer which we both liked. BF had the spicy kin ramen which was yummy and the vegetarian ramen was yummy too. We didn't get to try the Matcha dessert which I heard is good, because the belly was pretty full. Service was spot on.
A nice and cozy place to have a bowl of ramen. The ramen is tasty. Noodles are perfect, broth is flavorful and the egg is perfect. But you have to eat it quickly. As soon as you are finishing eating one of the waiters come and leave the bill. I was drinking my Coke and the waiter kept coming to ask if everything was fine and if I needed anything else. Honestly it made me feel uncomfortable and I felt some pressure to finish drinking and leave. So eating was a good experience, service not that much.
